[Urban] + [Overpowered Protagonist] + [Misunderstandings] + [Mythology] + [Gaming] + [World Creation]
Let’s start with the conclusion: Mi Yiteng is an ordinary person, or at least that’s what he thinks.
The bad news is that the games he plays are all coming true in the real world.
Fortunately, no one in this world knows anything about mythology. They believe only in science.
And so an utterly ridiculous cross-server chat gets underway:
Scene One: Mi Yiteng controls a monkey in a game and wreaks havoc in the Heavenly Palace.
In the real world: A phantom giant ape thrusts its staff straight through the atmosphere.
Experts from the United Response Department (adjusting their glasses): “This must be an optical phenomenon caused by some kind of spatial folding!”
Scene Two: Mi Yiteng thinks Cthulhu’s art style is too ugly and clicks Reject.
In the real world: The indescribable creature in the deep sea sulkily retreats to the Mariana Trench.
Experts from the United Response Department (furiously taking notes): “The anomalous energy field has weakened dramatically. It appears to have gone dormant!”
Mi Yiteng (sipping honey pomelo tea): “This lousy game can’t even get its character art right.”
The whole world is searching for the mastermind codenamed Zero.
Meanwhile, Zero himself is furious because he’s stuck in the game and is pounding his console.
“Seriously, how do you trigger this hidden story?!”
