I Just Became a Necromancer, and My Death Was Announced to the Whole Server

Programmer Glo dies from overwork and transmigrates to another world. The moment he wakes up, cultists sacrifice him, turning him into a vessel for the Lord of the Undead.

The good news: He's bound to the “Return of the Dead” System, which lets him plunder soul traits and create an army of stitched-together monsters.

The bad news: A server-wide announcement broadcasts his location, and a bounty has been placed on his head, with an artifact offered as the prize.

A knight wants to purify him, bounty hunters want to cash him in, and an angel of judgment wants to grind his bones to dust.

But Glo discovers he's no ordinary necromancer. He can extract, fuse, and reshape souls, putting a bat's echolocation in a skeleton soldier and transplanting a troll's rocky skin onto a zombie.

As the armies of the Church of Light close in, Glo stands before his undead legion and grins.

“You call this necromancy?”

“No, this is bioengineering.”

Lord of the Undead, leveling up live. If you don't like it, come fight me.
