The play mainly tells the story of a zombie virus that has been invading for three years. A team of mortal heroes must escort Murphy, the only virus-infected but surviving person in the zombie crisis, from New York to California, where the only functioning virus laboratory in the United States is maintained. If the blood sample of this survivor can be obtained, it may be possible to develop an antiviral vaccine. Before reaching their destination 3,000 miles away, they must cross the zombie-infested American continent. Although the antibody carried by this survivor is the last hope for human survival, he hides a dark secret that can destroy everything.
