The series revolves around Inokashira Goro, who runs an online imported grocery store. The core content is the process of exploring and enjoying food alone during work breaks. It adopts the form of a unit drama and uses close-ups to show the texture of food and the inner monologue of the protagonist. All restaurants in the play are actual business places, and the crew follows the principles of restaurant selection such as not using the stores that appear in the original comics and having the staff search for them themselves. The protagonist follows the ritual of "putting hands together and saying 'I'm going to start'" when dining, conveying concentration and respect for food.
