Old Debts, Death Bells

Born in the northern countryside, I have a particular fondness for folk taboos, old funeral customs, rural ghost stories, and mysteries of the human heart. I like writing stories hidden in old houses, mourning halls, coffins, family genealogies, and old debts. Rather than simply writing about ghosts, I’d rather make clear why the dead refuse to close their eyes, and why the living keep their mouths shut. My main themes: folk mysteries, strange tales of corpses, ancestral secrets, and rural lore. May every strange tale conceal an old debt that has yet to be repaid.
