I Stain China with My Blood

(This book may be excessively graphic and brutal. Please read with caution.)

In the final years of the Five Dynasties, the land was plunged into chaos.

The young Lin Fan was traveling through war-torn lands with his master when he witnessed things more horrifying than evil spirits: refugees killing and eating their own children, rebel soldiers slaughtering and looting the streets, and a strange grinding sound rising from beneath the earth, as if an invisible millstone were crushing all life and conscience into dust.

His master told him, “In times of chaos, the human heart is more terrifying than any demon.”

Later, his master died at the hands of the very people he had protected.

With his master’s sword and an elderly blue dog that had somehow begun following him, Lin Fan walked alone into a land scorched by war.

He traveled from city to city, witnessing one human tragedy after another. Gradually, he came to understand:

Hell lies not beneath the Nine Netherworlds, but within the human heart.

Each volume is a hell; each city, a purgatory.

An epic of chaos, human nature, sacrifice, and hope.
