But I Really Am Not Mentally Ill

Every night around midnight, I’m plagued by a strange dream. It feels so real, you know? Like I’ve transmigrated to another world, where people are ranked into different classes. It’s terrifying.

“I think I get it. A lucid dream, right? You’re lucky! Have you done anything strange in it?”

“I wanted to, but they said I had no money and beat me up.”

“And then?”

“Then I killed them.”

The doctor fell silent, nodded, and slowly wrote down a few words: “Diagnosis: multiple mental disorders. Recommend inpatient observation.”
