The Demon I Wrote Wants to Kill Me

Late at night, the author, Fengzheng Fei Xiang Yuanfang, pored over the manuscript. Unable to bear seeing Qin Tian, the protagonist of his novel, Chaos Treasure Cauldron, have his entire family slaughtered, his spiritual root crippled, and his lover betray him, he repeatedly bestowed two supreme treasures upon him: the Chaos Dao Fruit and the Chaos Cauldron. He even forcibly rewrote the plot to pave the way for Qin Tian's comeback.

But the excess of fortuitous opportunities completely twisted Qin Tian. His revenge no longer stopped at his enemies: he slaughtered countless innocents, and even sensed that someone behind the scenes, the author, was controlling him.

Qin Tian sneered from afar. "You toy with my fate as you please. Sooner or later, I'll break through the pages and take your life with my own hands!"

At first, the author found it novel. But watching living beings slaughtered filled him with regret. He repeatedly revised the plot to restrain Qin Tian, only to suffer backlash from his will. With no other choice, the author wrote in a new chosen protagonist, Lin Fan, and pinned his hopes on him to keep Qin Tian in check.

When Qin Tian realized the truth, he roared, "You think you can use a pawn to get rid of me? I'll kill him first, then cross worlds and kill you!"

Outmatched in cultivation, Lin Fan suffered defeat after defeat. The author spent his strength of mind to keep him alive and empower him, yet he still couldn't gain the upper hand. The author had no choice but to create a third protagonist, Ling Yun, and grant him divine abilities that could counter the power of chaos.

Lin Fan and Ling Yun fought together to the death, finally killing the bloodthirsty Qin Tian.

After enduring the characters' deadly clashes and several rounds of backlash from their will, the guilt-ridden and shaken author permanently put down his pen, never again willing to interfere with the fates of fictional characters.
