Beachcombing in the 1970S: Three Brothers Take Me Home

[Period setting and beachcombing + adorable child adored by all + golden finger that delivers hauls + face-slapping comeback] Three-and-a-half-year-old Xiao Tangtang is abandoned on a reef by her wicked stepmother as the tide comes in, nearly losing her life. Luckily, three poor fisherman brothers, barely able to feed themselves, find her and take her home like a treasure. The villagers mock the brothers for taking in a “money pit” when they can barely afford to eat. Little do they know that Xiao Tangtang is a lucky little star with a natural affinity for the sea! “Big Brother, there are giant green crabs in that crevice!” “Second Brother, cast the net! That's a school of premium large yellow croaker!” Wherever her chubby little finger points, the haul is huge! While everyone else combs the shore for scraps, she comes back as if she's been shopping for supplies. Thanks to her remarkable gift, her three brothers spoil her rotten. The family feasts on seafood at every meal, builds a new house, buys a big boat, and quickly becomes the richest family in the village. Seeing the once-poor brothers grow wealthy, her heartless stepmother and greedy relatives grow frantic with envy and shamelessly show up, hoping to snatch their “money tree” back. The three brothers grab their carrying poles and fiercely stand up for her, but Xiao Tangtang calmly beckons to the sea... Want to take advantage of them? Then let's see if the “big guys” in the water will allow it!
