The Great Calamity struck. Mutant beasts slaughtered cities, and humanity struggled to survive.
From the start, Lin Yu was at the Third Aperture Awakening stage. His family was shattered and his father crippled. Just as he was about to die beneath a mutant beast’s claws, he awakened the Heaven’s Mandate Overdraw Mark.
Want to kill enemies above your level? Overdraw a year of cultivation and instantly slay a second-tier Shadowblade Beast with your Bone Tempering combat power!
Want to turn the tables in a desperate situation? Overdraw ten years of cultivation and shatter the vanguard of a beast tide with a single Qi-Gathering punch!
The price? A steep drop in cultivation efficiency and an unstable foundation?
What a joke!
Hunt mutant beasts and seize their cores, then devour the cores to eliminate the backlash. Even the martial insights gained from your overdraft can be permanently solidified!
Others toil for ten years to advance one level. He overdraws for an instant to leap three tiers, then turns around and kills a few mutant beasts, clearing the backlash and steadily raising his cultivation.
From an unknown student at the Nan Yuan City training grounds to humanity’s god of slaughter, sweeping across the wilderness.
Lin Yu pressed forward over piles of mutant beast corpses:
“I’ll make you pay back the future you stole from me, with interest!”
