Overnight, the entire world is plunged into “rule-based instances.”
Countless bizarre instances descend upon reality: schools, hospitals, buses, old dormitories... Every place comes with rules that spell certain death.
Following the rules doesn't guarantee survival.
Breaking them means certain death.
Everyone has to cling to life, trembling with fear.
Except Lin Shan can see the loopholes in the rules.
[This instance's rules contain a hidden contradiction.]
[Exploit the loophole to clear the instance in reverse.]
[Locally rewrite the rules.]
While everyone else obediently kneels and follows the rules, Lin Shan uses the loopholes to turn terrifying urban legends into an amusement park.
“Bizarre entities? Rules? Sorry, I'm the one who makes the rules.”
