From Zero: Don't Be Afraid, This Time You Won't Face Reincarnation Alone

“Why... Why does it always happen this way? Why am I the only one who remembers all this pain...”

Collapsed in a pool of blood, Natsuki Subaru felt suffocated by a secret he couldn't tell anyone.

A hand suddenly came to rest on his shoulder.

“Who says you're the only one who remembers?”

The transmigrator Shen Yi stood beside him. Fighting the agonizing headache brought on by another reset, he smiled faintly. “Natsuki Subaru, this is your sixth loop. This time, no more crying.”

Whenever Natsuki Subaru died, Shen Yi's memories would be erased along with him. To save himself and survive in this despairing world, Shen Yi chose to become Subaru's one and only confidant, as well as the unseen hand wielding the blade.

Subaru's talents were quietly rewritten, and a Reaper's sniper rifle appeared behind him.

“Just keep moving forward. I'll make sure the enemies in your blind spots get their heads blown off.”

This time, the regret-free loop begins with a single shot.
