Nanny by Day, Raiding My Ex-Husband’s Battery Every Day

Five years ago, Su Nianxing fell victim to a conspiracy and accidentally got pregnant before running away.

Five years later, desperate to pay for her genius child’s medical treatment, she assumes the name “Su Dazhuang,” sticks on a mole and draws on thick eyebrows, then sneaks into the home of Yuncheng’s richest man, the Fu family, to work as a highly paid nanny.

She thinks all she’ll have to do is care for a temperamental disabled man. Who could have guessed he’d be her “ex-hubby,” the man who hates her to the bone?

Rumor has it that after a car accident left Fu Yecheng disabled, he became gloomy and violent, like a demon from hell, and went through nannies one after another.

But with Su Nianxing? Not a chance.

Mr. Fu goes on a hunger strike in protest? Let him starve! He ends up sneaking to the kitchen in the middle of the night to chew on a cold steamed bun.

Mr. Fu smashes a vase in a rage? She grabs a calculator and taps away. “Mr. Fu, that’s a Ming-dynasty blue-and-white vase. The cost will come out of your allowance next month.”

Mr. Fu gets so furious he chases after her in his wheelchair? She pulls out the wheelchair battery and leaves the distinguished Mr. Fu in the garden to feed mosquitoes all night.

All of Yuncheng thinks this audacious country girl is as good as dead.

Until one day, someone catches the usually cold and ruthless Mr. Fu with red-rimmed eyes, lifting a cute little kid high in the air, then clinging desperately to the “country girl’s” leg. “Honey, please give me back the battery, okay? I won’t do it again. Don’t leave...”

Su Nianxing: “Mr. Fu, please behave yourself. I’m just an employee.”

In the corner, the little hacker genius types away at the keyboard with a cold laugh. “Want to be my daddy? Get in line and take a number!”
