I Took the Emergency Call, and the City's Narcotics Teams Worked Overtime All Night

After graduating from the police academy, Lin Zhou takes an easy job at the 110 emergency dispatch center, hoping only for quiet shifts and a steady end to the workday. But he unexpectedly binds to the Drug Trace Alert System, which can identify drug-related risks and transport countdowns whenever he takes a call on duty. A complaint about cooking fumes leads to meth hidden in a cold-storage room; noisy neighbors turn out to be running a drug-packaging den; a food delivery customer who skips the bill exposes a courier drug-smuggling operation. Though he is a civilian dispatcher with no authority to go into the field, he repeatedly escalates reports over his superiors’ heads, taking on bureaucratic bosses and face-slapping the anti-narcotics unit that looked down on him. Behind a string of ordinary emergency calls lie a mole in the police station and a family-murder case sealed away for thirteen years. The young man who wanted to lie flat is forced to set off an anti-drug storm across the city, dismantling a cross-border trafficking network and the powerful forces protecting it!
