Siheyuan: From the Start, I Join the Armed Forces, and the Whole Courtyard Calls Me Grandpa

In 1961, Lu Changlin returns to Beijing after leaving the military, carrying the smoke and grit of his distinguished service. He takes a post as head of the security department and special security officer at the Hongxing Steel Mill.

He just wants a quiet life. But as soon as he returns to the courtyard, its vermin set their sights on his relocation allowance and ancestral home.

The sanctimonious Yi Zhonghai calls a meeting of the entire courtyard, hoping to guilt him into donating money.

The necromancer Jia Zhangshi throws a fit, trying to seize his spacious home.

The courtyard’s champion, Silly Zhu, raises his fists to put him in his place.

Facing this pack of bloodsuckers, Lu Changlin, who clawed his way out of a pile of corpses, gives a cold laugh.

He awakens the Iron-Fisted Justice System. Punish vermin and grow stronger!

Reason with them? No. The truth is only within firing range!

Lu Changlin pulls out his service pistol and slams it onto the Eight Immortals table, his killing intent soaring.

“Yi Zhonghai, by my grandfather’s generation, you should be on your knees calling me your great-grandmaster! Under the law, you schemed to steal a military family’s property. What do you think the penalty is?!”

That day, the vermin of the courtyard finally learned the terror of being ruled by absolute force.

He cripples Silly Zhu, sends Banggeng to juvenile detention, and raids the Jia family home!

The courtyard’s vermin kneel and weep. “Great-grandmaster, we were wrong! Please put the gun away!”

Lu Changlin coolly chambers a round. “Too late. You’re all going to prison to work the sewing machines!”
