I’m Just a Villager, but I’m Getting the Original Running Man Cast to Clean Up Chinese Showbiz

Lu Ye, a country bumpkin mocked by the entire internet, takes over Extreme Run, a veteran variety show abandoned by investors and on the brink of bankruptcy.

With young stars refusing to perform, sponsors pulling out, and the whole internet waiting to laugh at him, Lu Ye quietly awakens the [God-Tier Variety Show Director System]!

Newbie gift pack: Peak Rewind Aura! Any guest who takes part in filming will ignore injuries and be forcibly restored to the peak of their life for the duration of the shoot!

So Lu Ye waves his hand and brings back all ten members of the original cast, once kicked out by investors and mocked as “old, weak, sick, and disabled.”

On the first day of the broadcast, the whole internet is waiting for a joke. Instead, the livestream crashes!

The Big Black Bull turns into a human tank and rips the door off a young star's van with his bare hands;

The Little Cheetah ignores his torn meniscus and runs the hundred meters in 9.9 seconds, astounding the world of sports;

The Silly Roe Deer regains his top-tier star looks and takes down a rival show's music-world wizard with a single high note;

Old Deng and the Genius Pig max out their intelligence and toy with the investor villains as if they were putty in their hands!

When Lu Ye, the village director in an old coat with a megaphone, casually shows off god-tier music arranging skills and rescues people by skydiving from a helicopter with one hand, the entire entertainment industry is rocked!

Netizens are stunned: “Is this really a country bumpkin? He's an all-around max-level big shot!”

“This isn't a variety show, it's a dimensional beatdown!”
