Making Honkai Impact 3rd: The Valkyries Come Knocking?

Jiang Han transmigrates into a world where full-dive VR technology is highly advanced, but the only games around are mindless shooters and tower-pushing games.

Players everywhere complain that there are no good games on the market.

Jiang Han awakens the “Emotional Game Development System” and, from the start, launches Honkai, claiming it's a “wholesome, uplifting, and positive” casual game starring beautiful girls.

At first, players marvel at the gorgeous character models and satisfying combos, exclaim that the game is amazing, and spend money like crazy.

Then the CG for The Last Lesson airs, and Murata Himeko plunges into the abyss...

Players around the world break down in the middle of the night, bawling on Jiang Han's social media and sending him knife after knife: “Please, just act like a human being! Give our teacher back!”

A major gaming company tries to copy the game with a reskin, only to get crushed by the dimensional gap in anime culture and hardcore coding. It becomes the laughingstock of the industry.

While facing a storm of criticism from the entire internet and a tycoon's massive investment, Jiang Han stretches lazily in his luxury apartment.

Kiana, a white-haired girl with twin tails, is running herself ragged looking for sponsors, while Bronya, a genius with a blank expression, hammers away at her keyboard to optimize the servers.

Elysia, with her long pink hair, opens the door, her smile as radiant as a flurry of blossoms. “Jiang Han, little brother, stop coding and come have dinner~”

Looking at the beautiful former classmates around him, Jiang Han smiles faintly. “The players still have too much free time. For my next project, I've decided to make Genshin Impact!”
