The Harmony Sect's Junior Sister Used the Sword Venerable as Her Cultivation Cauldron

Chu Yaoyao, an outer disciple of the Hehuan Sect, doesn't want to get dragged into the sect's cutthroat competition between women.

So she heads down the mountain, finds a rough-hewn blacksmith in a mortal village, and cultivates by absorbing his yang energy.

The blacksmith is powerfully built. Furnace light glints off his hard, cold features, and sparks fly as he swings his hammer, making him look like a walking furnace of scorching yang energy.

Chu Yaoyao tosses him a low-grade spirit stone and smiles carelessly. “Lend me some yang energy so I can have a child. Then we'll owe each other nothing.”

She thinks he'll be an easy mortal to handle, but after one night of cultivation together, his blazing sword aura nearly scatters her spiritual power.

Four years later, Chu Yaoyao returns to the cultivation world with twins, a boy and a girl born with natural sword bones, and tears through everyone in her path.

At the sect gathering, ten thousand swords bow to her.

Xie Jiuxiao, the cultivation world's foremost expert, a cold and aloof Sword Venerable who has severed all ties to love, tears through the void and appears before her.

Staring at that familiar, icy face, Chu Yaoyao wonders to herself: Why is this Sword Venerable moonlighting as a blacksmith in the mortal world?

That night, the Sword Venerable's bonded spirit sword seals off her cave abode.

The lofty Sword Venerable's eyes redden as he grits his teeth. “Chu Yaoyao, how do you like the furnace of yang energy I gave you?”
