Zhou Yuyang, an ordinary university student in the twenty-first century, falls down a well while visiting his hometown for summer vacation.
He wakes up to find he's transmigrated, and has saved a talking fox that drinks his blood and claims to be a Nine-Tailed Spirit Fox.
Then the fox turns into a gorgeous woman worthy of being called the campus belle, and weeps and begs to marry him.
“I'm a spirit fox! You saved my life, benefactor, so according to our clan's rules, I have to either marry you or kill you!”
“Th-then... I guess you'd better marry me...”
Zhou Yuyang accepts his fate with tears in his eyes. But before half a day has passed, his fox bride is on the verge of dying to save him.
Luckily, an old man claiming to be the Soul-Eating Demon Emperor shows up, offering to take him as a disciple and give him a cheat ability.
“Master, when can I go home?”
“First save your wife, then cultivate immortality, then look for a way back. What's the rush?”
“...I'm in a rush!!”
Don't mess up and keep updating.
