Your Human-World Experience Pass Has Expired. Please Renew

Lin Shu received a text message: “Your Human Experience Pass has expired. Please renew.”

Renewing didn’t mean paying money. It meant dealing with paranormal incidents. The beginner’s starter pack: a compass with 1% battery, an employee handbook with missing pages, and a salted fish that could talk back.

The first mission: a red-clad female ghost who jumped from the roof of North City University at the same time every night.

Everyone thought she was a vengeful spirit. But after hearing her story, Lin Shu realized...

She wasn’t waiting to be released from her suffering. She was waiting for someone to say, “I heard you.”

Three years ago, she called him for the last time. He didn’t answer.

Three years later, she stood on the rooftop, waiting for him to hear the rest of the song.

The Underworld System ruled: The mission was completed in a manner that did not meet standard procedure. Merit points would be withheld for now.

But at last, the female ghost no longer had to jump.
