Late Ming: From the Start, I Had 100,000 Hanyang Rifle Fanatics

Transmigrated to the seventeenth year of the Chongzhen reign, at the end of the Ming dynasty.

Li Zicheng, the Chuang King, has Beijing under siege, while Dorgon watches hungrily from beyond the passes. Chongzhen is getting ready to find a crooked-neck tree and hang himself.

China is on the brink of collapse. The darkest hour has come!

Lu Ting awakens a System. From the start, he can summon one hundred thousand absolutely loyal death soldiers, all armed with Hanyang rifles that have unlimited ammunition!

In an age when people still use matchlock guns, broadswords, and spears, Lu Ting looks at his mechanized infantry division and smiles.

“My lord, times have changed!”

When Li Zicheng’s veteran cavalry charges, they are met by the death soldiers’ merciless wall of crossfire.

Li Zicheng breaks down: “Good heavens! Why don’t his guns need lighting? And how can they shoot so far?”

When the Manchu Eight Banners enter the passes, boasting that no one can defeat them once they number ten thousand, Lu Ting sets up a Maxim machine gun.

Dorgon despairs: “Against Lu Ting’s firearms, my Great Qing warriors won’t even be left with whole bodies!”

The Chongzhen Emperor carries his throne right over to Lu Ting. “My dear Lu, you can take the throne. I’ll go to the munitions factory and make bullets for you!”

Years later, the Ming ironclad fleet sails into the Thames, and the whole world trembles within Lu Ting’s range.
