A Female Ghost on the Dragon Bed from the Start, I Swear to Become Emperor

Wang Xiao transmigrates, but the place he ends up is terrifying. There are seven or eight dried corpses around him, and he has no vitality at all. He’s skin and bones, as withered as a dead tree, and can barely stand.

Wang Hao is completely stunned and scrambles backward in fright. A few women in red are combing their hair at the vanity. Hearing the commotion, one of them turns around, and a snow-white skull appears before Wang Xiao’s eyes. His mind shuts down on the spot. The most terrifying part is that, seeing he’s still alive, the skull speaks in a coquettish voice: “Your Highness, you’re still alive? I thought you were dead.”

Wang Xiao slaps himself hard across the face twice. It hurts like hell. This isn’t a dream: he’s transmigrated.

Wang Xiao has transmigrated into a fantastical, paranormal world as the crown prince of an imperial dynasty. The royal ancestors are vigorous and full of vitality, the emperor is a formidable cultivator who keeps the dynasty in check, and the imperial house has deep reserves of power. His eight brothers all have their eyes on the throne.

The old ancestor gives him the courtesy name Batian and tells him not to be a coward, but Wang Xiao isn’t domineering at all. He’s even a little timid. His mother isn’t a wealthy heiress or a holy land’s saintess, and his cultivation talent is inferior to that of his eight gifted imperial brothers, even his own younger sister by the same mother. But he’s the legitimate eldest son, and the emperor dotes on him, so his position as crown prince is as secure as a rock. Yet as soon as he takes the throne, he gets carried away, revealing his true nature. He starts throwing his weight around, indulging in food, drink, and pleasure, and comes close to committing every evil under the sun. In the end, he dies at the hands of a terrifying White Rakshasa who has infiltrated the palace disguised as a selected maiden.

Fortunately, when Wang Xiao transmigrates, he awakens a System. He beats the stuffing out of his eight brothers and vows to become emperor and fight for supremacy over the realm.
