A One-Sitting Summary of A Smile to the Song

At the Battle of Pingling, the splendid female general Fu Yixiao shoots down Feng Suige, the eldest prince of Susha, with a single arrow, turning the tide of battle by herself. But before the glory of victory has even faded, she is ambushed by a hidden arrow and falls off a cliff. By a medicinal spring, the gravely wounded Fu Yixiao unexpectedly encounters Feng Suige. She has lost her memory, while he is badly injured. After a tense struggle between the two sharp-toothed beasts, Feng Suige manages to subdue Fu Yixiao and take her back to Susha. It turns out he has long suspected that someone in Susha is colluding with the enemy. Fu Yixiao's fall may have been caused by her stumbling upon the secret dealings between the two nations. At this moment, Xia Jingshi, the Prince of Zhen'nan of Jinxiu, arrives on a mission to arrange a political marriage.
