You Were the One Who Wanted to Break Up, So Why Make Me Come Back?

[No angst, no cheating; she chases him and turns the tables; she regrets losing him; a lighthearted everyday romance] “You want to break up?” The moment she dumped him, Lin Shanhai thought he must be dreaming. Three years of loving her in secret, three months as a couple, and she ended it with one sentence: “We're not right for each other.” Even more ironically, that very night he saw her seamlessly move on with Wen Henian, the campus heartthrob. Lin Shanhai turned and walked away, as if he'd made up his mind about something. He thought he had enough pride not to cry, until “Brother Shanhai!! Our midterm results are out!” “How did you do?” “I'm doomed! I came third from the bottom!” “T-third from the bottom...” Lin Shanhai finally couldn't hold back his tears. “Meng Xinghe, it's not just you who's doomed. We're both doomed.” From then on, Lin Shanhai resolved to stay away from the idiot Meng Xinghe. Much later, Su Wan regretted it. She went back to Lin Shanhai and asked him through tearful eyes, “Can we start over?” Before Lin Shanhai could answer, a sweet, clear voice came from behind him “Sorry, Sis. He's my teacher now. Oh, wait, he's my... boyfriend.” Meng Xinghe linked arms with him, smiling as innocently as could be. “You were the one who wanted to break up. Why do you want him back now?”
