In the Black Robes: From the Start in the Deep Sea, I Evolved Into an Ancient God

After transmigrating into The Boys as its weakest member, The Deep, Lin Yuan awakens the [Myriad Realms Sea God Evolution System].

By collecting fear from superheroes, he can unlock the templates of ancient Great Old Ones from the Cthulhu Mythos.

From the start, at the scene of an air disaster, not only does he survive, he also happens to record high-definition footage of Homelander standing by as people die.

In this world of The Boys, where everyone is a psycho and supes run rampant, the only way to survive is to be crazier than they are.

Lin Yuan chooses a more elegant path: in public, he is The Deep, Homelander’s most loyal “lapdog,” taking the harshest beatings and saying the softest words.

In secret, he wins over Starlight and Maeve, raises a gigantic Kraken in the depths of the Pacific, and uses videotapes to force Homelander to play the “model father” in front of the cameras every day.

Homelander: “Kevin, you’re the brother I trust most. Your loyalty to me is beyond question!”

Lin Yuan: “Of course, boss. By the way, shouldn’t my hush money go up next month?”

When the final battle arrives, Homelander stares at the tentacled Great Old One slowly rising from a hundred-meter tsunami and falls into deep thought…
