This Star Is a Little Wild: The Dragon King of Chentang Pass Makes His Debut

Chen Lang wakes up to find himself a washed-up, barely-known celebrity in the entertainment industry, taking part in an obscure dating reality show for ordinary people.

The production team has cast him as a “pure-hearted young man.”

Chen Lang bursts out laughing on the spot.

In his past life, he spent decades in Dongguan as a notorious playboy, and now they expect him to act innocent?

On the first day of filming, a female contestant asks him shyly, “How many relationships have you had?”

Chen Lang counts on his fingers, then gives up. “I’ve lost track.”

In the control room, the director’s blood pressure shoots straight to 180.

But when the show airs...

“This guy is so freaking real!”

“I’m dying. He’s turned a dating show into a masterclass in being a playboy!”

“Give me three minutes. I want everything there is to know about this scumbag!”

While the other male contestants make heartfelt confessions, Chen Lang is messaging the fourth female contestant.

While the other guys arrange chance encounters, Chen Lang has already asked the second female contestant out for a late-night snack.

The director is about to lose it. “Chen Lang, can you tone it down?”

Chen Lang looks completely innocent. “I am toning it down. I haven’t asked three girls out at the same time.”

The whole internet erupts in discussion, the trending lists are dominated by his name, and overnight Chen Lang goes from an unknown contestant to a viral sensation.

Later, a reporter asks him, “Mr. Chen Lang, netizens say you’re a modern-day playboy. What do you think?”

Chen Lang replies righteously, “That’s slander! I take every relationship seriously!”

The reporter asks, “Then how many relationships do you take seriously at once?”

Chen Lang falls silent.

The comments explode: Silence means he admits it!
