Opening a Supermarket in Chang'an, Sizi Forces Every Official to Buy VIP Memberships

Lin Xuan inherits a suburban supermarket, only to discover that its back door leads straight into the Taiji Palace of the Tang dynasty!

From the start, he runs into a wild little girl. A closer look reveals she is none other than Princess Jinyang, the famously beloved little Sizi!

One lollipop and one cartoon later, the Tang dynasty’s most pampered little princess is completely won over and becomes Lin Xuan’s number-one “star salesperson.”

From then on, an unusual duo can be seen on the streets of Chang’an.

“Father! Big Brother’s spicy strips are so delicious. Hurry up and pay for a supermarket VIP card! Otherwise, Sizi will cry!”

“Lord Zhangsun, it costs ten strings of cash for one blind-box draw. You can’t leave until you’ve won a celestial potato!”

The court officials are all groaning after being fleeced. Li Shimin looks at the emptied treasury and fumes, stroking his beard: “Lin Xuan! Give me back my sweet, well-behaved daughter!”

Lin Xuan casually cures Sizi’s respiratory illness, uses modern supplies to trounce the Turks, then reclines in a rocking chair and sighs contentedly:

“I never meant to become the Tang dynasty’s Imperial Preceptor. At first, I just wanted to open a little supermarket and earn some pocket money!”
