Chen Yin is being hunted by the entire cultivation world. Who would have thought the charge would be plagiarism?
He can perfectly copy any technique in existence. Watch a sword technique once, and he can reproduce it exactly. Take a palm strike infused with spiritual energy, and he can copy even the precise meridian pathways through which his opponent circulates it. The righteous sects call him a thief of the Dao, while the demonic sects curse him for breaking the rules. The great sects have joined forces to issue the Cultivation World Originality Protection Pact. Its first article reads: “Anyone who steals the Dao must be put to death.”
“You say I stole your Dao. But where did your Dao come from?”
Seven Mirror People, awakened from an ancient seal, want him dead. A grandmaster who has lived for three thousand years controls the entire Hunter Network from behind the scenes. His only trump card is the lineage whose name the cultivation world erased: the Stolen Dao. In ancient times, it had a far older name: All Techniques Return to the Origin. The great sects joined forces to wipe it out, renamed it the “Stolen Dao,” and nailed it to the pillar of shame. Because if techniques could be copied, the authority of “originality” would collapse.
Chen Yin buys a fragment of the Eternal Pill Heart Mirror at a ghost market. Engraved on it are the words: “The Dao is not created. It has existed since the beginning of Heaven. All things are the Dao, so how can anything be original?”
Chen Yin tucks the fragment into his robe, casts off his disguise, and heads for the next city.
“You say I plagiarize? Fine. I’ll copy everyone’s Dao, then we’ll see who the real thief is.”
