The story picks up immediately after the first season’s finale. After Guan Hongyu takes the fall for Guan Hongfeng and goes to prison, Guan Hongfeng goes on the run as the wanted “Guan Hongyu,” pursuing the mastermind behind the February 13 family massacre. The main plot follows the brothers as they overcome their identity crisis and join forces with comrades including Zhou Xun and Zhou Shutong to expose the criminal forces within the police system. In the end, they clear their names and face off against the mastermind in a climactic battle between light and darkness.
