In the gaming scene, Li Meng has always played support. Her style is laid-back: she doesn't chase kills or steal resources. She spends her days in solo queue, where teammates mock her as a useless noob with terrible mechanics. No one knows what she can really do.
Wang Xue, a top-tier star and popular female esports streamer, is widely recognized as a professional gaming prodigy. With millions of fans and a halo of fame around her, she's arrogant and domineering, convinced she's better than everyone else, and loves mocking ordinary players.
During a solo-queue match, Wang Xue decides Li Meng's play is mediocre. She spends the entire game insulting and taunting her, then goes AFK and throws the match. Afterward, she posts screenshots online to incite a pile-on, leading her fans in a campaign to dox and attack Li Meng. She's certain Li Meng is a talentless noob.
And that's not all. Wang Xue steals Li Meng's solo-queue strategies and copies her unconventional builds, then turns around and accuses Li Meng of copying her. She teams up with other streamers to bully her.
No one knows that Li Meng is a retired national champion jungler with god-tier mechanics. Tired of the cutthroat competition in the professional scene, she returned to solo queue to play casually and keep a low profile.
Wang Xue repeatedly launches online attacks, spreads rumors, and pushes things too far. She even smears Li Meng's past record, finally pushing Li Meng over the edge.
Li Meng stops hiding her skills, switches accounts, and jungles her way through ranked, crushing everyone in sight. Her precise mechanics overwhelm Wang Xue, and she humiliates the so-called prodigy streamer in front of everyone.
She joins a streaming platform, reveals her hands and shows off her godlike mechanics. Her popularity explodes overnight, and she eclipses Wang Xue's online traffic.
At the same time, she releases proof of her past championship wins and match footage, exposing Wang Xue's plagiarism and online harassment of ordinary players. Wang Xue's reputation collapses, and she loses countless followers.
The support once mocked as deadweight makes a comeback as the internet's undisputed number-one female jungler, taking over the entire esports scene.
