The Han Emperor's Cultivation Diary

On the first day of Li Yu’s reign, memories of his past life as a cultivator awakened. He thought he could spend his days as an emperor and his nights pursuing immortality, command all the realm’s resources, and sweep his way along the path to becoming an immortal. But he soon discovered that the throne was far more of a hot seat than he had imagined. At court, powerful ministers had sidelined the emperor. Beyond the borders, demons and fiends were battering the passes. In the inner palace, hidden blades lurked in the dark. Even the cultivation sects regarded the Han dynasty as an easy crop of mortals to harvest. The entire court waited to laugh at the new emperor, while mighty cultivators declared, “How could a mortal ruler ever presume to seek the Dao and immortality?” Li Yu smiled. Others relied on spiritual roots, sects, and lucky breaks to cultivate. He, on the other hand, commanded the fortune of an entire nation, and the people’s offerings could all become resources for his cultivation! From that moment on, as long as the Han dynasty’s fortune endured, his Dao foundation would remain unshaken. The stronger his realm, the greater his cultivation. Powerful ministers forcing their way into the palace? Slay them! Demons and fiends wreaking havoc? Crush them! Immortal sects think the Han dynasty has no one to defend it? Then this emperor will shatter every immortal bone on your mountains! With the realm and its people in his left hand and the path to immortality in his right, watch Li Yu forge an supreme Dao foundation from the fortune of an entire nation, subdue the court, pacify the world, crush the immortal sects, and establish the one and only cultivation dynasty in all history!
