My Milk Tea Is a Little Sweet, and My First Love Has Been Plotting for Ages

Shen Chuyan had once taken a terrible fall in love and gotten involved with a vicious ex.

That past became a shadow he could never escape.

To avoid his ex's endless malicious harassment, the already socially anxious Shen Chuyan hid away in a small advertising company, enduring his stingy boss's constant mistreatment just to get by in peace.

Then one day, the rain poured down.

That vicious ex blocked his way home from work again and made things difficult for him in every possible way.

Just when he was completely alone, a top-of-the-line Maybach burst through the curtain of rain and stopped at the intersection.

Lu Yechen, Jiangcheng's youngest billionaire and the man in control of Chenhui Group, held a black umbrella as he strode through the mud toward him.

The man was usually so untouchable that no one dared approach him. With nothing but his commanding presence and the bodyguards behind him, he sent the arrogant provocateur fleeing in fear.

Once the crisis had passed, Lu Yechen turned and tilted most of the umbrella over Shen Chuyan's head.

Looking at the disheveled young man before him, his eyes reddened and his voice went hoarse.

“The treasure I've held dear and protected for all these years, who dares lay a finger on him?”

Shen Chuyan froze.

As he looked at the mature, steady man before him, his memories drifted back to a summer years ago, when a boy had sipped milk tea.

Back then, the cool, taciturn boy had secretly set a photo of him biting a straw as his phone wallpaper, his gaze deep yet restrained.

It turned out that the unfulfilled feelings of youth had never been a one-sided love.

To fulfill the promise he'd made back then, Lu Yechen had ventured alone into the business world, carving a path through every obstacle, all so that today he would have the standing to protect Shen Chuyan openly.
