After Three Years of Being Bullied by Cheats, I Changed Class to Scavenger and Became Invincible

For three years, Chu He worked at the bottom of a gaming company as a “human target for anti-cheat testing,” getting relentlessly slaughtered in a classified server by all kinds of deranged aimbot and wallhack AIs!

Those three years of hellish torment gave him nerves and muscle instincts that pushed beyond the limits of human capability.

On the day of the public release, Chu He was fired and switched to the most useless class in the game: the [Wasteland Scavenger].

Can't wear armor? Can't use decent guns?

No problem. Chu He just wanted to keep his head down and quietly scavenge through the ruins, relying on his class's hidden lucky charm to find a few top-tier valuables and sell them for cash.

Until one day, the server's number-one guild decided to clear the area. They fired three shots at Chu He while he was rummaging through a trash can, then tried to steal the ten-million-level treasure he'd just found.

Chu He sighed and pulled a rusty little pistol from his pants. It had only 1% durability left and didn't even have a sight.

“I just want to pick up some junk and make enough to live on. Do you really have to force me to fight?”

The next second: prediction, blind shots, evasive footwork, and headshots through walls!

With a junk pistol, Chu He wiped out a fully equipped heavy-armor squad in thirty seconds!

The livestream chat went wild:

“Holy crap! You call that a scavenger? Since when can someone who picks up junk walk the server's top players like dogs? Report him, he's definitely cheating!”
