Beloved daughter of the Lu family in the military compound, she once again secures a steady job thanks to her extraordinary portrait-drawing skills. Mo Linchuan, the third son of the Mo family in the military compound, was once a promising soldier. After being injured on a mission and rendered unable to continue high-intensity training, he voluntarily applied for a transfer and was assigned to lead the Criminal Investigation Team at the Municipal Public Security Bureau. As the two work together on cases day after day, they develop feelings for each other and eventually get together.
