Hong Kong Crossover: On My First Day Undercover, I Awakened the Beast King System

Lu Jing transmigrates into a parallel Hong Kong movie world, only to find himself stuck from the start as a miserable traffic cop who spends every day handing out tickets.

Before he can even become a full-fledged officer, his unscrupulous superior sets him up and sends him undercover in Wo Shing Wo, saddling him with a rundown Sai Kung pier that even dogs wouldn't go near.

Facing ostracism from the major gangs and schemes from corrupt cops, Lu Jing sneers:

If you won't leave me a way out, then I'm done pretending!

He awakens the Daily Sign-In and Canglan Beast King System:

“Sign in at the Sai Kung pier and receive the ‘Deep-Sea Demon King Squid.’ It will blockade all of Hong Kong's waters, and every smuggling boat will have to pay me taxes!”

“Sign in at police headquarters and receive the ‘Nine Heavens Shadow Falcon.’ It will monitor the entire city, leaving the upper ranks of Hong Kong Island with no secrets!”

“Sign in in Causeway Bay and receive a ‘Bloodthirsty Army of Soldier Ants.’ They can assassinate in silence and make every opponent disappear without a trace!”

Hing Fai's boss: “We agreed you were only taking territory. Why did you unleash a giant ape over two meters tall?”

Police high command: “We sent you undercover. We didn't tell you to turn Wo Shing Wo into a multinational financial conglomerate!”

Seated in his mansion spanning thousands of square feet, Lu Jing declares: “From now on, Hong Kong is mine. Who's with me? Who's against me?”
