I Took Over the Province’s Poorest Mess and Turned It Around

[Reborn + Officialdom + Grassroots Governance + Solving Livelihood Crises + Passion + Positive Energy]

Amid a chorus of mockery, Fang Jingyuan returns from the dead and takes charge of a hopeless mess: a county burdened with 300 million in debt and ranked dead last in the province. There’s nobody above him to protect him, nobody below who respects him, and the whole leadership team is made up of slippery old hands.

Everyone bets he won’t last three months, but Fang Jingyuan launches a campaign of overwhelming force. The old hands try to put him in his place? He smiles and calls in support from higher up, sending them straight to the disciplinary commission. Capital wants to seize the mineral resources for five billion? Using memories from his previous life, he reports it to the state and beats them to the punch with a fifty-billion strategic protection plan.

Then torrential rains bring devastating floods, and he strips off his suit and plunges into the mud to save three thousand lives downstream. Then he faces a real-name accusation, and 180,000 county residents collectively stamp their red fingerprints on a petition to vouch for him in court! The entire officialdom is stunned. You call this poor county, which can’t even pay its workers, the richest county in the nation?

From a catastrophic start to a career crowned by achievements, Fang Jingyuan’s rise is like a rocket ride. But as his efforts to turn things around threaten the interests of the most powerful, an even deadlier plot quietly draws near. Watch as he masterminds his way through it all and holds up the sky with one hand!
