Taking 800 Elite Troops to Join the Independent Regiment as Deputy Commander

[A carefully written story with no System, no score farming + fighting the Japanese invaders + grounded and relatable] After spending three months pedaling a sewing machine at the clothing factory, Li Yunlong finally gets the word from the commander: “Get your ass over to the Independent Regiment and take command!” Old Li rushes over, eager to give the whole regiment a show of force. But the brigade commander tells him, “They've assigned you a deputy regimental commander, a recent defector from the Nationalist Army.” Li Yunlong immediately blows his top. “Why does he get to be my deputy commander just because he surrendered? I'm not doing it! What kind of war can those Nationalist rich boys fight?” But a few days later, when the new deputy commander, Jiang Zihua, slowly pulls back the waterproof tarp behind him... M1903 rifles, Thompson submachine guns, crates of Browning light machine guns, and even an infantry cannon, disassembled into parts! Looking at the mountain of top-grade American weapons, Li Yunlong instantly changes his tune. He grabs Jiang Zihua's hand and pumps it enthusiastically. “Oh, Old Jiang! We're practically family! From now on, you're the one calling the shots in the Independent Regiment!”
