After working overtime, Gu Yanchen returns to the home he designed with meticulous care. This shelter, full of mechanisms and hidden compartments, had once been his source of security, until he finds water stains on the faucet, a note in the mirrored shower, and a suitcase filled with old newspapers in the closet. The papers show a picture of him, reported “missing” three years ago. At the end of the hallway stands a woman in a white dress, identical to his late wife, silently pointing toward an even deeper mystery. When the night view outside the window turns into a moss-covered brick wall, Gu Yanchen realizes this journey home isn’t taking him back to his house. He has walked straight into a trap laid long ago.
