The Republican-Era Ghost: Raising Hell in the Student Dorm

On a nighttime visit to a haunted house from the Republican era, Lin Hao finds a bloodstained jade token in a dried-up well.

From then on, strange things keep happening in his university dorm.

A senior student who is two-timing her boyfriend sees herself transformed into a withered old woman in the mirror. His roommate, who pretends to be rich to trick female classmates, is strangled by an invisible hand in his nightmares every night.

Lin Hao realizes that every victim is someone who deliberately deceived their partner.

The jade token houses a hundred-year-old vengeful spirit: Su Wanqing, a famous opera singer from the Republican era. She once pledged herself to her lover for life, but was seized and slandered by the Lin warlord, and died full of bitterness.

She punishes everyone in the world who feigns affection, and never stops until they are dead.

And Lin Hao is a direct descendant of that warlord.

“What you owe me isn't your life. It's justice.”

As a century-old injustice is gradually exposed on a modern campus, Lin Hao must choose: destroy her to save himself, or risk his life to win long-overdue justice for a wronged spirit buried by history?
