A global catastrophe strikes. Rivers run dry, cities turn to stone, and in 72 days both worlds will be destroyed!
Lin Yan, an ancient-text restorer at the National Library of Classics, discovers at the moment the apocalypse arrives that the Classic of Mountains and Seas, dismissed as myth, is actually a map that can save Huaxia civilization!
Transmigrating through the wilds of the mountains and seas, he awakens his bloodline as a Guardian of the Leylines and activates the Five Treasuries of the Classic of Mountains and Seas. He purifies the Xingxing, revives Mount Zhaoyao, and restores the flow of the Li River in the mortal realm; awakens the Lushu, rekindles the spiritual essence of Mount Niuyang, and instantly extinguishes the southern wildfires; then subdues the Bifang, returns the divine flame to Mount Zhang’e, and brings life-giving rain to the drought-stricken world.
The Four Sacred Beasts serve him, the myriad peoples of the mountains and seas bow before him, and all four ancient fiends pledge their loyalty.
When the complete map of the mountains and seas unfurls, 1.4 billion people in the mortal realm shout as one: “Guardian of the Leylines, we stand with you!”
This time, there is no lone hero. All peoples stand together! Wielding Huaxia civilization as a blade and 1.4 billion hearts as a shield, they will reforge the Guixu seal and protect the peace of both worlds!
