Keep Running: You Said You Were a Nobody, So Why Are You Famous Nationwide?

Shen Du was bound to an all-profession sign-in System. After five years at home, he had already become an invincible tycoon worth trillions, with every skill maxed out.

He had planned to keep lazing around at Tomson Riviera, but Bai Lulu, a top-tier star and his childhood friend, wouldn’t leave him alone. She dragged him onto the nationally popular reality show Extreme Speed as a civilian contestant’s replacement.

On the first day of filming, the whole internet mocked him: “Who’s this nobody? Why is he leeching off our idol’s popularity?”

But as filming went on, things gradually spiraled out of control.

During the wilderness survival segment, the other celebrities chewed tree bark while Shen Du caught a wild boar with his bare hands and built a luxurious jungle shelter in no time.

In the racing special, a professional driver arrogantly challenged him. Shen Du floored it, drifting past him on Mount Akina in the production crew’s beat-up Wuling.

During the antiques appraisal segment, an expert pointed at the scraps of paper Shen Du had used to prop up a table leg and exclaimed, “Good heavens! This is a lost original by Wang Xizhi, worth a billion!”

Bai Lulu was dumbfounded. “I thought you’d been unemployed for five years and played video games at home every day!”

The production crew went crazy. “Please, tone it down! This is a comedy variety show, not a place for you to play a god!”

When Shen Du’s outrageous stunts came to light, from casually piloting a helicopter to summoning a Middle Eastern financial tycoon with a single phone call, netizens begged, “Boss, stop pretending! How many identities are you still keeping under wraps?!”
