At the same moment, billions of people around the world hear a cold, mechanical voice: the “Rule Game” has officially begun. Anyone who breaks the rules will be torn apart by the ever-present horrors, leaving not even their soul behind.
Former forensic examiner Lin Mo and his childhood friend Jiang Chen survive the “Midnight School Building” dungeon amid the corpses of the horrors. Lin Mo’s razor-sharp eye for detail and Jiang Chen’s overwhelming combat ability make them some of the first players to figure out the game’s rules for survival. Along the way, they meet Su Wan, a hacker who can crack any electronic system; veteran player Zhao Shanhe, who knows the dungeons’ unspoken rules; high school senior Lin Xiaoxiao, who can sense danger before it happens; and highly skilled surgeon Gu Yan. The six form the “Gamebreakers” squad, a team feared by every horror in the game.
From a bizarre middle school with thirteen rules that must be followed and a ban on looking back in the hallway, to a psychiatric hospital where mirrors are forbidden at three in the morning and nurses make nighttime rounds, and then to an unmanned supermarket where the products attack people and anything priced at zero must not be bought, they repeatedly survive in the cracks between the rules, overcoming one supposedly inescapable death trap after another.
But as the dungeons grow more and more difficult, Lin Mo gradually discovers a terrifying truth: the so-called “rules” are not absolute truths. Some are traps set by the horrors themselves, and the game engulfing the world is no random draw at all. It is a selection process targeting humanity.
When the final dungeon, “The Source of the Rules,” opens, when every rule is overturned, and when Lin Mo, Jiang Chen, Su Wan, Zhao Shanhe, Lin Xiaoxiao, and Gu Yan face the ultimate
The most anticipated thing every day is to wait for the update. The plot becomes more exciting as it goes on, the foreshadowing is revealed bit by bit, and the twists and turns are constant. It makes people want to watch it. The hard-working author insists on coding and will keep chasing to the end.
I came across this book by chance. I was just casually reading it, but I fell in love with it. The plot is smooth and not draggy, the characters are vivid and there are no messy poisonous points. I read most of it in one go. I sincerely recommend it to all my friends who are book lovers. I give it five stars!
Many book friends around me are reading it, and they unanimously praise it. The relationship between the characters is clear, the plot direction is reasonable, and there is no bloody conflict. It is suitable for leisurely passing time or serious reading.
Compared with many similar novels I have read, this one really stands out. The author's writing style is mature and the rhythm is just right. It is not too fast or dragging. Both the plot and the emotions of the characters are very delicate. It is worth reading again and again.
All I can say is, it's super, super, super good-looking! Every character is full and distinctive, and the big and small plots are all arranged very reasonably.
The beginning is pretty good, I will keep reading if I add it to my bookshelf.
The plot is complicated but clearly organized by the author
Not bad, not bad, very good-looking, recommended.
The writing style is good, and a strong sense of atmosphere can be achieved with just a few strokes.
I am ecstatic because of my supernatural literary skills. This is so right and beautiful.
