Turned into an Insect? No, I'm Kamen Rider!

An entirely original take on a Kamen Rider-style series, with a world reminiscent of the “The” series but an original setting. I've been wanting to write something with a Showa-era Kamen Rider feel, so I gave it a try. Take a look if you're interested.

My name is Amamiya Keita. I'm twenty-four, unemployed, and live in an apartment that costs 35,000 yen a month. I get by on odd jobs and the savings I've accumulated over the years.

My neighbors only know me as a quiet young man who sometimes goes out late at night and returns before dawn. Nobody knows where I go, and nobody knows that my left arm, from shoulder to fingertips, is covered in a layer of hard, ivory-colored armor, like the elytron of some kind of beetle.

It's not a tattoo, not an ornament, and certainly not some kind of wearable device.

It's part of my body.
