Blood Beneath the Blue Helmet

When the little girl detonated the bomb strapped to her body, the deputy company commander slammed Lin Zhen out of the way. He saw a strange look of release in her eyes.

Three days later, Lin Zhen discovered in the morgue that someone had altered the time of his comrade’s death. Deep inside the peacekeeping camp, an entity codenamed “Ghost” was pushing everyone toward the abyss.

A drone belonging to Alex, a former French Foreign Legionnaire, captured footage that should not have existed. The medical records of army doctor An Xiaoman concealed symptoms no one could diagnose. Beyond the barbed wire, a boy named Marcus clutched a shell casing from the bullet that had killed his parents and entered the camp of a radical group.

When Lin Zhen finally tore away a corner of the truth, he discovered that beneath the ruins of this African battlefield, the peace they were protecting was flowing with the blood of the innocent.
