The sinister rites in the old district have been rotten for twenty years.
Every old object devours people, and every alley claims lives.
I survived by resetting my death,
and kept my memories by sacrificing others again and again.
They call me an aberration, an ominous thing, a demon who lets people die.
But they can't see how the warmth is carved from my mind every time I turn back time.
They can't see that the last trace of humanity in my eyes died long ago, after countless deaths.
I scavenge what remains in this rotting world,
but what I'm picking up isn't old junk. It's the shattered remnants of my own life.
All things rot. I alone survive.
