Out of Prison and Into Landlording: Every Tenant Is a World's Richest Person

Lu Ye returns from a mysterious black prison with one great wish: to stay in his old home and enjoy a peaceful, cozy life.

He grows flowers, plays chess, and collects rent in his old apartment block. Life is as calm as still water.

Then one day, the “troublemakers” he'd once kept firmly in line in prison start showing up with all kinds of gifts.

Uncle Wang, who sells soy milk, is actually the ruler of an overseas mercenary empire.

Brother Li, who fixes bicycles outside the entrance, can trigger a global financial crisis with a single phone call.

When all sorts of enemies and snobbish relatives come knocking, hoping to disrupt Lu Ye's peaceful life, they discover in horror that even the tenant pouring tea for Lu Ye is a world-shaking tycoon far beyond their reach.

Lu Ye sighs. “I really just want to be an ordinary landlord. Why are you all kneeling?”
