I Haven't Even Made a Move Yet, So How Did Dong Zhuo Become a Loyal Minister?

My name is Liu Qiong. Qiong as in “the firmament.” I am the new emperor of the Han dynasty.

The bad news: I transmigrated to the late Han, a nightmare from the start. Powerful ministers control the court, and the warlords are watching like hungry wolves.

The good news: I’m bound to the “Endless Growth System.” My combat strength and lifespan compound by one-thousandth every day.

I can already shatter a palace with one punch, but the System says this is a high-martial version of the Three Kingdoms. To avoid being killed in one strike by Lü Bu’s halberd, I decide to keep pretending to be weak and remain a puppet ruler.

Then one day, Dong Zhuo enters the palace with his sword. I think I’m done for.

But the guy drops to his knees with a thud, weeping and swearing to shed the last drop of his blood for the Han dynasty.

After that, Cao Cao, Yuan Shao, Liu Bei... one by one, all the warlords who were supposed to rebel become my biggest fans.

Watching the officials at court viciously compete for the title of “The Han Dynasty’s Most Loyal Minister,” Liu Qiong falls into deep thought.

“If you all keep this up, how am I supposed to feel comfortable rebelling against myself?”

Dong Zhuo’s perspective: I got my hands on a “Rebel Simulator” and thought it would show me a glorious life spent usurping the Han throne.

But on the first day, the simulation said: [You enter the palace with your sword. The young emperor accidentally sneezes, and you and your armor are reduced to rubble.]

On the second day, it said: [You gather a hundred thousand Western Liang cavalry to rebel. The young emperor sighs and flattens Chang’an with one slap.]

Dong Zhuo breaks down. “What the hell kind of emperor is this? He’s a primeval beast wearing human skin! From this day on, anyone who dares disrespect His Majesty will have their entire clan exterminated by me, Dong the Fat!”
