The ancient osmanthus tree in Qingxi holds the soul's essence of three lifetimes. Su Ningtang, an ordinary mortal girl, has protected her family's ancestral osmanthus jade since childhood and carries within her a honey-scented spiritual vein that has endured for a thousand years. Xuan Qingci, an Immortal Venerable from the Mystic Realm, descends to the mortal world, following the osmanthus jade's destiny in search of an ancient love lost across the Three Realms. Demons covet the jade's hidden realm, while old grudges from reincarnated lives bind past and present. Guided by the osmanthus fragrance and bound by a pact forged with twin jade pendants, the two brave the hidden realm, subdue demons, and unravel their fated bond. Their deep mortal love merges with the great path of immortality, while the obsessions of old souls are laid to rest and conflict across the Three Realms is resolved. One wisp of osmanthus fragrance joins the mortal and mystic worlds; a pair of jade pendants binds them for three lifetimes. Across reincarnation and the divide between mortals and immortals, they remain devoted to each other, true to a love written in fate.
