I Pretended to Come Out, and Now My Aloof Childhood Friend Has Dropped the Act

Pei Jingyu is the youngest chief of neurosurgery at Jingbei Hospital. Cool and aloof, with gold-rimmed glasses, he’s renowned as an untouchable beauty.

Only Shen Chi knows that in private, he’s a severe germaphobe and a control freak.

Shen Chi is Jingbei’s number-one playboy, hot-tempered and a confirmed straight man who can’t stand gay people!

To dodge an arranged marriage, Shen Chi has a brain fart and drags Pei Jingyu in as a shield. “Let me introduce you. This is my boyfriend. We’ve been in love for ten years.”

He expects his best friend to play along, but Pei Jingyu only adjusts his glasses, wraps an arm around Shen Chi’s waist, and murmurs hoarsely, “Now that it’s public, shouldn’t you fulfill your duties as my boyfriend tonight?”

Shen Chi feels the sky come crashing down. “What? I was just pretending! You’re serious?!”

Later, Shen Chi notices his best friend looking at him more and more strangely.

He panics. “I can’t stand gay people. Don’t come any closer!”

Pei Jingyu corners him, his voice warm and seductive. “That’s okay. You can think of me as a woman. Be good and call me hubby.”

Shen Chi is utterly overwhelmed. “Not only does he like men, he’s been plotting to seduce me all along?!”

[Cool, scheming neurosurgeon × hot-tempered, tsundere straight rich kid]

Both are devoted to each other, both each other’s first love, childhood friends, mutual pining, intense romantic tension, and sweet romance with no angst! The temperamental young master is impossible for anyone in the world to handle, but he’s completely obedient in front of Pei Jingyu.
