Warhammer: Starting with the Combat System

His soul transmigrates into Warhammer 40K, where he becomes cannon fodder, a fresh Astra Militarum recruit.

In this dark age, with the Imperium of Man teetering on the brink and the Chaos Gods everywhere, an ordinary man's life is worth less than a stray dog in a hive city. Luckily, the Combat Evolution System awakens: kill enemies to grow stronger, overwhelm them with superior stats, and gain skills with no limit.

From trembling as he swings his sword for the first time to cut down a Chaos pawn, to slaying a Space Marine far above his rank; from a refugee and cannon fodder looked down on by everyone to a Daemon Hunter feared by Chaos Warbands.

With blood and fire, he proves that mortal flesh can stand alongside the gods.

The Astra Militarum aren't expendable. They're the Imperium's sharpest blade.

But in the end, Lin Yuan realizes that he's wielded this blade a little too effectively. Even the Emperor can't help but take a closer look at him.
